SPaRC it Up!

Ever notice how some cigars have that real nasty taste while others really do have that nice smooth flavor? We at SPaRC have noticed that same thing. SO we are introducing the very first ever SPaRC IT UP Event. An event that will help you how to pick out those finely wrapped smooth cigars than those from the nickel shop. SO on September 8th we will meet at Edward Thompson’s Cigar Store from 5:30 until whenever we decide to head out the shop closes. Later some of us will meet at JP Mulligans for the first Monday Night Football of the season!

Join us for an interactive seminar based on the common sense sales approach presented in Jeffery Fox's book "How to Become a Rainmaker: The Rules of Getting and Keeping Customers and Clients". The idea behind the book lies in the American Indian tradition of employing a Rainmaker to use magical powers to nourish the crops to feed the people. Updating this, a Rainmaker today is a person who brings revenue into an organization be it a profit or not for profit organization.

Putt Putt is for the Dogs

Join CNY SPaRC as we team up with Smile-Therapy for the first ever mini golf tournament to benefit some organizations involve our four legged friends! These 6 rounds of 18 holes of putt-putt is to help the local SPCA, SANS Inc., and Sunshine Friends. SPaRC will be handing out sponsorship forms for all those interested in volunteering or participating. The set goal is for each participant to raise $250, but we’ll take what we can get because every little bit helps (although an effort to reach this goal is highly encouraged).

6th Annual Wine Tour

Join CNY SPaRC for our 6th Annual CNY SPaRC Wine Tour “A NEW BEGINNING WITH AN OLD TWIST”: We will once again be cruising in style on everyone’s favorite ride – the yellow school bus.  This time CNY SPaRC will invade the wine trail of Seneca Lake! The Seneca Lake Wine Trail is located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State and is the located directly just east of Cayuga Lake (the wine trail we conquered last year)!  We will be stopping at Hazlit Winery, other wineries will be announced at a later date. In addition to visiting the wineries we will also enjoy lunch with a view as we dine at Seneca Harbor Station in Watkins Glen. Also while en route, there will be raffles and door prizes and much fun to be had. Our estimated time of return is 6:30pm.

Time/Location: Bus departs from the MOST at 8:30 a.m. and we will return by 6:30 pm
Cost:  $60 (Fee includes transportation, tasting fees, and lunch)
