BYLAWS of CNYSPaRC

Michael Wereszynski - President

Mike W. lives in the Village of East Syracuse. He works for the Structures Design for the NYS Department of Transportation.

Favorite Thing About CNY?: "Where ever the day takes me! CNY has so much to offer and when you think about we are ideally placed. Whether it comes to traveling to a major metropolis (for example NYC, Buffalo, or Toronto) to driving through some beautiful country (like the Finger Lakes or Adirondacks), or just hanging out at a local hot spot, anything you want to do or see is within a short distance. Another thing that is more like an addiction, is volunteering for events. Whether its Big Brothers and Big Sisters bowl-a-thon, the Habitat for Humanity build, or just helping some of my neighbors out. I feel I need to be out there trying to better this community of ours in one way or another."

 Dawn Leadley - Vice President

Dawn Leadley grew up in Michigan, moved to Syracuse in 1985, and currently resides in Wampsville, NY.  Dawn is a 1985 graduate of The Stratford Business school, where she completed a two-year degree in Medical Office Management.  She is currently finishing up her BS, and will soon start her Master’s, both in Healthcare Administration through SUNY Empire State College.  She has worked in healthcare for over 21 years, the last ten of which at Upstate Medical University in Radiology Administration.  In her spare time, Dawn spends time with her husband and six children, and is actively involved in her union and a local ski club.  Dawn joined SPaRC in October 2005, and became Vice President in January 2007.

Favorite Thing About CNY?: "My favorite thing about CNY is the enthusiasm and energy of its residents, and the multitude of recreational choices available to me at any given time of the year, including great dining, outdoor music/cultural/fine arts festivals, downhill skiing, and beautiful state parks."

What's not to love and enjoy about this area that seems to lack for nothing.  Each season offers its own plethora of activities; golfing, skiing, roller blading, concerts, theater, the symphony, volley ball…so much and too many to name here.  My all time favorite thing to do of course is getting together with great friends.  Living here and being involved in SPaRC has enhanced it all."
