Tennis Mixer

Join us for an afternoon of tennis on the clay. Lessons will be provided if desired, and the afternoon will culminate in food. The club does have a dress code: Tops have to be predominantly white, and bottoms must be a solid color.

Papermill Island Stage

Bring a blanket or a lawn chair to the outdoor stage at Papermill Island in Baldwinsville. Dallas and Atlas are the two bands that will be playing.(The facility asks that no coolers be brought. The last time I was there they sold food/drinks.)

Brew & View: Fort Drum Night

Beginning at 5:30pm on July 17th, the 1st annual; ‘Boots on the Big Screen’ film fest to benefit wounded soldiers through Operation Homefront will take place at The Palace Theatre on James St in Syracuse. This year’s films will be "The Last Ridge," "Black Hawk Down" and "Dr. Strangelove (Or, How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb)."

When: Friday, July 17, 5:30 p.m.
Where: The Palace Theatre, 2384 James St., Syracuse
Cost: $12, $10 for active duty military

CNY SPaRC at the Syracuse Chiefs

Join CNY SPaRC for a game between the Syracuse Chiefs and the Durham Bulls. We'll have a catered picnic on the patio behind home plate. Join us for burgers, hot dogs, soda, and baseball! (You're welcome to buy beer at the ballpark and bring it to the patio, too!)

THE CNY SPARC WINE TOUR IS BACK!!!

We will be once again cruising in style on everyone’s favorite ride – the yellow school bus. Also once again, we shall tour the Seneca Lake Wine Trail located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. Our first stop will be at the elegant Chateau Lafayette Reneau where we will be offered 15 samples, some of which will be from the award winning wines. Other stops shall include: Damiani Winery, Penguin Bay Winery, Bloomer Creek Winery, and finally the Standing Stone Winery. In addition to visiting the wineries we will also enjoy lunch at the Penguin Bay picnic area. There will also be raffles for door prizes and a 50/50 drawing.

Date: Saturday, September 26, 2009.
Time/Location: Bus departs from the M.O.S.T. at 8:30 a.m. and we plan to return by 5:30 p.m.
Cost: $55 (Fee includes transportation, tasting fees, and lunch).
