09:30 AM Op SPaRCle: City of Syracuse Big Rig Day

City of Syracuse Big Rig Day
Operation SPaRCle Volunteer Opportunity

Operation SPaRCle has now been asked by Syracuse to help out some of the city’s fun events.  Come alone, bring a friend, heck bring the kids!!!  Join us for a fun day of volunteering at the City of Syracuse’s BIG RIG DAY!  We need people for face painting, running a kiddie mini golf course, supervising those giant inflatable toys that we used to love to jump around in, and of course helping people in and out of "big rigs" such as fire engines, police cars, and various construction vehicles. It’s a fun time for the whole family and easy jobs to help out with.  So even if you can’t help, at least come down to visit.

Afterwards, we can head out for some more fun and grub.

Date: Saturday, April 26th
Time: 9:30 to 2
Location: Burnet Park, bordered by Grant Ave, Coleridge Ave and Grand Ave (map)

08:00 PM Syracuse Stage: "The Fantasticks"

SPaRC Arts Event
"The Fantasticks" at Syracuse Stage

New York’s longest running musical (more than 17,000 performances Off-Broadway), The Fantasticks is charming, funny, and a celebration of the bloom of first love. A girl and a boy grow up next door to each other. They are perfect for each other and they fall in love. To ensure the success of their romance, their oh-so-sly fathers devise every scheme to keep them apart. Filled with delightful songs.
